CNPJ Lookup for Bitrix24 is a Bitrix24 app built exclusively for companies operating in Brazil. It connects your CRM directly to the Brazilian Federal Revenue (Receita Federal), automatically filling in official company data whenever a CNPJ number is provided.
How it works:
- A "Consulta CNPJ" button appears in the toolbar of every company record in the CRM
- One click fetches official data from the Receita Federal and populates all fields automatically
- New company records saved with a CNPJ are enriched automatically upon creation
- Every lookup result is logged in the company's activity timeline

Note: This application is designed for use with Brazilian companies only. It queries the Brazilian Federal Revenue database (Receita Federal) and requires a valid CNPJ number.

Added: automation rule (bizproc)
- New "CNPJ Lookup" automation rule, registered via bizproc.robot.add on installation.
- Available in Deals, Leads, Estimates, Invoices and Smart Processes (FILTER on the crm module).
- Input parameters: the field holding the CNPJ and an option to update the linked company.
- Returns 27 variables (legal name, trade name, registration status, primary and secondary CNAE codes, partners, address, phone, e-mail, and others) via bizproc.event.send.
- Reason for the new bizproc scope: it is required by bizproc.robot.add, bizproc.robot.delete and bizproc.event.send. Without it the automation rule cannot be registered. No other feature of the app uses this scope.
Changed: custom fields are no longer created automatically
- The app no longer creates custom fields during installation.
- New screen on the app's home page where the portal administrator chooses between creating the default fields or mapping existing fields one by one.
- Restricted to administrators (checked via user.admin).
- Methods used: crm.company.userfield.list, crm.company.fields, crm.company.userfield.add.
Added: alphanumeric CNPJ support
- Check-digit validation according to Brazilian regulation IN RFB 2.229/2024 (character value = ASCII − 48), keeping full compatibility with numeric CNPJs.
Fixed
- Companies created through CRM forms did not trigger the automatic lookup. In those cases the ONCRMCOMPANYADD event arrives without auth[access_token] (action not linked to a portal user); the app now uses the OAuth token stored at installation, refreshed via refresh_token.
- Field names were shown as technical identifiers on the setup screen; they are now read from crm.company.fields.
- Improved tolerance to CNPJ data source downtime, with retries and alternative sources.
Unchanged: CRM_COMPANY_DETAIL_TOOLBAR placement, ONCRMCOMPANYADD event, subscription model and privacy policy.
